Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin, Ireland). When pages are accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data: IP address, date and time of access, page visited and browser type. This data is required to deliver and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not combined with other data sources.

Cookies and audience measurement (Google Analytics 4)

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, an audience and usage measurement service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to measure the reach and usage of this website. Google Analytics 4 is only activated once you have given your consent. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

IP anonymisation is active: your IP address is shortened by Google within the European Economic Area before any further processing, so that direct identification of you is generally no longer possible.

This processing involves a transfer of data to Google’s servers in the United States. Google is self-certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which guarantees a level of protection recognised as adequate by the European Commission for this transfer.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future, via the cookie settings in the footer of this website.

Google Analytics 4 sets the following cookies in doing so:

• _ga (retention period: 2 years): used to distinguish between visitors.
• _ga_M93GCS1B2J (retention period: 2 years): stores the session state and the measurement data specific to this Google Analytics property.

Revyoos review widget

On the home page we embed the review widget of the provider Revyoos to display genuine guest reviews. A script is loaded from revyoos.com; in doing so, your browser transmits your IP address to Revyoos. Booking via eviivo

Bookings are handled by the external booking system eviivo at reservation.naturelakevillage.be. As soon as you switch to it, the eviivo privacy policy applies; the data you enter there (name, contact details, payment details, stay details) is processed by eviivo. We receive the booking data required to carry out your stay (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The day-to-day management of bookings is handled on our behalf by Think Big, Rue de Fragnée 45, 4000 Liège, Belgium.

Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Links to social media

This website contains plain links to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. No plugins or pixels from these providers are embedded; no data is transmitted to these networks when you visit our pages. Only when you follow a link does the privacy policy of the respective provider apply.
